Shipping-Free Shipping in US

We do our very best to ship every item within 24 hours of it being placed. All orders placed before 3pm Tuesday - Friday should be shipped next day (we are so ON it!!!). We ship all items by registered insured mail and use USPS as our domestic carrier, but can use FedEx or USPS if requested. The arrival of your order - if shipped UPS Ground - will depend on your location, but please estimate about 3-5 business days from the day it is shipped.


Payment

PayPal - Easiest payment.

Check - Personal checks and bank checks must be drawn from a US bank. It takes up to 10 business days for personal checks to clear. A bank check in excess of $5,000 must be cleared by our bank (up to 10 business days), prior to crediting money to your account, with no exceptions.

Credit Cards - We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards and only credit cards issued by US based banks.


Accuracy Of Billing And Account Information

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.


Age of Consent

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.


Return Policy

Alex Gulko Custom Jewelry prides itself on offering the highest quality merchandise and service. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If, within 7 days after receipt of your purchase you are not completely satisfied, you may return it for a full refund, exchange or store credit. Any item that is a special order, engraved, sized or custom altered in any way are not returnable. The items must not have been worn, or it will not be accepted for return. Refunds are made only to the original purchaser and in the exact method of original payment. Any item that is returned without the original packaging and/or with missing or damaged packaging materials will be subject to a restocking fee not to exceed $40.00.

Our Return Process

To return or exchange any item purchased online, please follow the following process:
  1. Email us to alexgulko@sbcglobal.net to get a Return Authorization number within 7 days of receipt of your merchandise.
     
  2. The item must be returned using US Postal Service Registered Mail. (Fedex& UPS will not insure for more than $500.00) Be sure to ship the item fully insured and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
     
  3. Pack the item, along with all packing materials (bag, box, any certificates, etc.) along with the original receipt in an appropriately sized box. Be sure to make and keep a copy of the receipt for yourself. Seal all seams with paper tape. Do not use plastic tape, it will not be accepted by the Post Office.
     
  4. Ship the box to:

  5. Do not write any words on the exterior of the box that pertain to jewelry!

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


Our warranty

We stand behind our craftsmanship and materials and we provide a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser of Alex Gulko jewelry. This warranty covers any defect in material or workmanship, but it does not cover neglect, abuse or normal wear and tear. This is especially true for rings and bracelets. Our hands are in constant motion during the course of the day and our jewelry comes into metal on metal contact with doorknobs, handrails etc. Because of this, we recommend having your jewelry cleaned and inspected once a year. If your jewelry experiences any trauma (i.e., dropped on a tile floor, slammed in a door, driven over by a car, believe me, we've seen it all), please send it back to us for inspection. Regular inspections may help prevent stone loss and extend the life and the beauty of your jewelry. Damage or loss that results from failure to obtain repairs necessary to maintain the integrity of your jewelry are not covered under the warranty. Some examples of common jewelry issues that would not be considered to be workmanship or manufacturing defects include, but are not limited to:
  1. Gemstones that have been scratched, chipped or fallen out due to negligent wear.
     
  2. Bent, broken or worn out prongs. Stones will fall out due to these issues.
     
  3. Harsh and not so harsh chemicals can irreparably ruin some gemstones, and even affect some precious metals. Please be cautious with chemicals.
Maintenance, repair, sizing or any other alteration by anyone other than Alex Gulko will void your warranty. If we determine that the defect is not due to poor workmanship, we will notify you and let you know if repairs are possible and at what cost.


Sales Tax

Any items shipped to an address in the state of Michigan will be charged the appropriate sales tax. Any items shipped outside the state of Michigan will not be charged sales tax, however the purchaser may be liable to pay the sales or use tax to their state and it will be the purchasers responsibility to pay the assessed amount.


Products Or Services

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.


Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
